What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? (Birmingham)

Since my layoff as an insurance claims processor I have no real structure. Any experience at all would help. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.
