What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? - any advice?

I want a realistic schedule for the week that does not burn me out. I am in Dallas, in case local advice matters. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

A walk before I start and a call with a friend at lunch keep me steady.
