What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? - any advice?

Since my layoff as a software tester I have no real structure. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
