What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? after 8 years as a machine operator

Since my layoff as a machine operator I have no real structure. Thank you in advance. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon.

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.
