What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? after 4 years as a security officer

Since my layoff as a security officer I have no real structure. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What does your day look like?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
