What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? after 18 years as an administrative assistant

Since my layoff as an administrative assistant I have no real structure. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
