What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? after 17 years as a software tester

I want a realistic schedule for the week that does not burn me out. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.
