What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? after 14 years as a quality inspector

Since my layoff as a quality inspector I have no real structure. Any experience at all would help. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. What helps you switch off?

A walk before I start and a call with a friend at lunch keep me steady.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
