Transit passes and rides for job seekers - what worked for you?

I do not have a car and interviews in Detroit are spread around. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I can walk part of the way.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
