Transit passes and rides for job seekers - what worked for you?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a store manager. I worked as a store manager before this. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
