Transit passes and rides for job seekers (update)

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some employers are off the main lines.

Some workforce centres hand out bus tokens for interviews. Ask at the desk.

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
