Transit passes and rides for job seekers (update)

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a web developer. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Some employers are off the main lines. What do you use?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.
