Transit passes and rides for job seekers (San Diego)

I do not have a car and interviews in San Diego are spread around. I am in San Diego, in case local advice matters. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
