Transit passes and rides for job seekers - first time posting

I do not have a car and interviews in Austin are spread around. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
