Transit passes and rides for job seekers - first time posting

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. I can walk part of the way. What do you use?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
