Transit passes and rides for job seekers - any advice?

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as a social media manager. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not want to be late. Any rideshare programmes?

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
