Transit passes and rides for job seekers - any advice?

I do not have a car and interviews in Madison are spread around. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I can walk part of the way.

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
