Transit passes and rides for job seekers - any advice?

I do not have a car and interviews in Nashville are spread around. Thank you in advance. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
