Transit passes and rides for job seekers - any advice?

I do not have a car and interviews in Pittsburgh are spread around. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I can walk part of the way. Are there discounted passes?

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
