Transit passes and rides for job seekers after 15 years as a bookkeeper

I do not have a car and interviews in Kansas City are spread around. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

I planned routes the night before with a trip planner and left twenty minutes early.

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.
