Transit passes and rides for job seekers

The bus takes almost an hour to reach the places hiring as an IT help-desk technician. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I can walk part of the way. Any rideshare programmes?

If you can, schedule interviews back to back in the same area to save fares.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
