Transit passes and rides for job seekers

I need a cheap way to get to several appointments. It has been a long 12 weeks. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Our transit agency has a reduced-fare pass for people with low income. The application took a week.
