Transit passes and rides for job seekers

I do not have a car and interviews in Kansas City are spread around. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some employers are off the main lines. Are there discounted passes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
