This community helped me more than I expected - first time posting

I have read this forum every day since I lost my job. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I feel calmer and more organised now. What would help newcomers most?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
