This community helped me more than I expected - any advice?

I posted here 5 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as an accounts payable clerk. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am still searching but I have a plan. Anyone want to swap notes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
