This community helped me more than I expected - any advice?

I posted here 24 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as a teaching assistant. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am still searching but I have a plan. Is there anything I can do for others?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
