This community helped me more than I expected

I posted here 8 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as a procurement assistant. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. Two tips made a real difference: keeping a log and asking for help early. What would help newcomers most?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
