Staying positive without pretending - 10 weeks in

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. I do not want to pretend I am fine. How do you ask friends for support?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
