Simple budget for a tight month - what worked for you?

I am $850 short each month and trying to find it. I worked as a school bus driver before this. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
