Simple budget for a tight month - what worked for you?

I am $150 short each month and trying to find it. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.

Sell things you do not use. I made about $150 from a weekend of listing.
