Simple budget for a tight month - what worked for you?

We are a household of 13 and the budget no longer works. I am in Richmond, in case local advice matters. I am nervous about falling behind. Did lenders work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
