Simple budget for a tight month - what worked for you?

We are a household of 17 and the budget no longer works. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
