Simple budget for a tight month

We are a household of 6 and the budget no longer works. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
