Simple budget for a tight month (Boston)

I am $350 short each month and trying to find it. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Any apps or methods?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
