My income is now a fraction of what it was as a home health aide and I am trying to cover the essentials. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. What helped you?

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
