Simple budget for a tight month - any advice?

We are a household of 7 and the budget no longer works. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
