We are a household of 17 and the budget no longer works. It has been weighing on me all week. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. What helped you?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
