Simple budget for a tight month after 6 years as a procurement assistant

We are a household of 6 and the budget no longer works. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. I am nervous about falling behind. What helped you?

Sell things you do not use. I made about $750 from a weekend of listing.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
