Simple budget for a tight month after 17 years as an office manager

We are a household of 17 and the budget no longer works. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.

A paper list of bills by due date helped me more than an app. I could see the month at a glance.
