Simple budget for a tight month after 17 years as an administrative assistant

We are a household of 17 and the budget no longer works. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high.

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
