Simple budget for a tight month after 11 years as a customer-service rep

I am $800 short each month and trying to find it. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high. Did lenders work with you?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
