Simple budget for a tight month after 10 years as a copywriter

My income is now a fraction of what it was as a copywriter and I am trying to cover the essentials. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high. Any apps or methods?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
