Simple budget for a tight month - 7 months and counting

I am $300 short each month and trying to find it. It has been a long 5 weeks. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
