Simple budget for a tight month - 10 months and counting

We are a household of 10 and the budget no longer works. I worked as a data-entry clerk before this. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Any apps or methods?

A paper list of bills by due date helped me more than an app. I could see the month at a glance.
