Recommendations for free job-search tools after 7 years as a data-entry clerk

I am looking for free tools that do not spam me. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. A spreadsheet with dates and follow-ups worked a little. Are there tools to avoid?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
