Recommendations for free job-search tools after 18 years as a medical assistant

I am looking for free tools that do not spam me. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I want reminders to follow up. Any good templates?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A simple spreadsheet with company, date, contact and next step was all I needed.
