Recommendations for free job-search tools after 10 years as a welding apprentice

I am looking for free tools that do not spam me. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. A spreadsheet with dates and follow-ups worked a little. Any good templates?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
