Places that helped me after losing my job - what worked for you?

I found a few free services in Fresno that I did not know about. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
