Places that helped me after losing my job (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a store manager in Richmond. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
