Places that helped me after losing my job (update)

I found a few free services in Kansas City that I did not know about. A food pantry near me has evening hours. What else is out there?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
